Henk Schers


Henk Schers is a GP and researcher at the Radboud university medical center in Nijmegen. He finished his PhD on continuity of care in 2004 and has combined practice with research since then. He is interested in innovations at the intersection between primary and secondary care. He was one of the founders of Recovery Circles (Herstelcirkel), and is chairing the foundation with a mission to spread Recovery Circles over the Netherlands in the coming years.

Recovery circles

In the presentation I will present the principles of Recovery Circles, and show how the participants were involved in establishing the concept. Moreover, we will shortly show how individual goals and preferences of participants are met. Finally, the evaluation of the pilot group will be presented.
